I have had several of those. Careful mods would tame the beast and make them very rideable without sacrificing the speed they were known for.
I still own my first RD400, a Daytona special, and an RZ350 I love these bikes. One of the smoothest two stroke street bike I rode was a Suzuki GT550 Indy not the quickest bike but had a really smooth power band

I had a Suzuki Gamma for a couple weeks. It was just too physically small for anybody 6ft and 200lbs. As cool as it was, I hated it pretty quickly.
