How do I get these to seal when closed? I replaced the window seals but when fully clasped the window comes away from the seal. Feels like excessive play in the hinge. 1970 Belvedere 2 door post.
Been that way right from the day the car left the factory, because some Jr Designer was given a simple task and he failed Geometry !
My original 1969 latches kept the glass off the seal pretty good when closed. I bought some repops from a vendor at Carlisle a few years back and they are much tighter to the seal. Still good be a little more snug in my opinion though.
