Hi all.I'm currently working on a 3D model of 1971-1974 B-Body Sedan. While gathering references, I noticed that the chassis of the Sedan models is quite different from the 2-door versions.
Does anyone have clear reference photos of a Dodge Coronet or Plymouth Satellite Sedan? I am specifically looking for chassis/floor panel
Since clear photos of the Sedan specific parts are hard to find online, any help or original photos would be greatly appreciated!
I’m also looking for side view photos with the fenders removed, where the inner fenders and firewall are exposed. This would be extremely helpful for my modeling process.
Thanks.

Most all of the inner structure is the same between 2-dr and 4-dr. Rear footwell pan and the trunk pan are different. Everything else is the same.
Also the front clip is different between 71-2 and 73-4. Big changes in 73.
What year are you working on?

Thanks for the info! I am mainly focusing on the 1971-1972 Plymouth Satellite 4 dr.
I’m planning to follow the layout of the right side of Image, I noticed some differences in the images I've gathered. The 71 Satellite wagon chassis on the left seems to be missing the structural sections that I've circled in yellow on the right image. It looks like the frame rail extensions or floor reinforcements are different. I plan to remove them. Does that sound correct?

Can I refer to this picture to make the firewall and inner fender? It's a 73-74 model. I can't find the sideview of 71-72.

Okay those are called sub-frame connectors and they are aftermarket and not factory. They look like they might be from US Cartool.
The plates with the big hole that are next to the connectors at the rear of the car are called torque boxes and were factory on certain cars. A few companies make those too.
I probably have pictures of some 71-2 cars that might be helpful for you.

Teal, the picture you posted with the circled area is my car.
As moparmarks said, they are frame connectors and are aftermarket.
Here is a better photo of them.
