Never have liked 'regular' red and own two of them!!almost never see a red car anymore.......other than a few modern candies/pearls...... not that I have a problem with that

Not if it's a Prius. Just sayin'...A bright red car is automatically going 15 mph over the posted speed limit in the eyes of Johnny Law.

That is exactly what my brother told me!Any vehicle painted Red is also known as "ARREST ME RED"!!! cr8crshr/Bill![]()
Back in 2007, when I bought my last new car, I wanted a red Chrysler 300C. Dealer tried to find one already in stock in Pennsylvania. None to be had, and I ended up special ordering one.almost never see a red car anymore.......other than a few modern candies/pearls...... not that I have a problem with that
My only ticket in a vintage Mopar was with my red '69 GTX at Carlisle in 2024. I beat the ticket. No question the car drew attention. Back when it was new, it was the only red one in the area. Green and Saddle Bronze were the popular colors.Any vehicle painted Red is also known as "ARREST ME RED"!!! cr8crshr/Bill![]()
Have 2 red pickups....a 96 Dakota and a 97 2500. Had the Dakota about 5 years now and was too nice to pass up. Had the 2500 since 2001 and it ran too good to pass up but I got it fairly cheap since the red clear coat was already pealing. The Dakota has been repainted....Funny, I've never really cared for red.... Yet I own two red cars...View attachment 1956932View attachment 1956933
So far, never been stopped with either of my red pickups. Maybe it's because they are pickups? Doubt that. Got a ticket with my Emeral Green Dakota but the cop made a mistake on the ticket.A bright red car is automatically going 15 mph over the posted speed limit in the eyes of Johnny Law.
