Has anyone used Performance Car Graphics for any dash restoration projects? If so, is there work high/show quality? Also, are their prices reasonable? Are there others that you would recommend? The top dash pad is cracked, the chrome trim and lettering all needs to be cleaned up and replaced, the speedometer plastic cover needs replaced, the wood grain inserts need to be replaced (including the super hard to find R/T emblem that I have) and the chrome trim needs to be fixed/replaced. (see pictures)
They did my cuda 10 or so years ago...did a great job, I also have a 70 r/t that's fe5 red white gut and stripe...
Dave Patik is the man! Prices are reasonable and does high quality restorations. I had him do various parts for me ranging from clusters, other dash parts, and interior parts through the years. Stands behind his work, great customer service..... He currently finished the original red interior for my 69 X and as always exceeded my expectations. These are the after pics of the original red center console he restored. Several cracks repaired, couple broken pieces replaced, scratches repaired, notorious glove box gouge he built it up and replaced the grain. It looks like it did new......
That's gonna be one sweeet 70 R/T. Can't wait to see the finished product. Is it going to have Ram Air? I have the same hood on my 70 Bee and have the majority of the parts to make it so. Just need a template in the form of good pics from a fellow member
What do you need? Pics of which parts? I'm missing the cables but have everything else...the hoods rotted so I need to convert a flat hood...previous owner left it standing up in the dirt back 2 inches are shot! Rest of the hoods mint
Well for starters are the scoops just for decoration or do they have holes that let air in? I love the looks of the double snorkel scoops but mine appear to serve no practical purpose. Secondly is your car a 4bbl? If so I would like pictures of the base.
The scoops have holes under them I don't have a 4bbl base for a 440. I've got a repro 383 base and a 6 pack base
Is yours a 440 4 barrel? Auto or 4- speed? Would be great if you send updated photos as you put the car back together.
It's a u code 4 speed car...I'm going to go six pack mostly coz I have it...sadly all the good parts are gone so I'm trying to find parts to put it back together...not many options power drum man steer 4 speed r/t early car built 9 15 69
I've collected a lot of parts, need the Dana, shifter mech, a pass tail light lens, some sort of front brakes, I may go disc just for drive ability, the k frame and front susp was gone but I've sourced most of it. Painted ctr bumper I've got chrome...4 speed console, r/t insert for pass side, tail panel trim, the list goes on...
