Does this rim look familiar to anyone? I haven't taken the tires off, but do rim manufacturers put their names on them anywhere besides the center cap?

Look like these cept looks like someone nocked all the rivets out.

My guess?

Kind of look like Champ 500s, I think Centerline made them.

That was a popular style in the 1980s. I recall that style from both Centerline and Enkei. The Enkei will have no external identification (maybe on the back side of wheel though). I recall the Centerline wheel having "Centerline' engraved/machined or cast into the front face of the wheel.

I have a different, but similar style Enkei wheel on my '79 Chrysler 300. Got the wheels in 1983. Very light wheel. Never had any issues with them. I could not afford the Centerline wheels in 1983.

Also, my Enkei wheels have that large, threaded center hub (like in the OP's post). It is for the chromed hex cap with Enkei on the face.

Agree those are likely Enkies. I have a set of the centerlines that look like those, but they do have the centerline logo cast into the wheel face, and dont have the protruding center, or the screw-on cap.
If you look at DeltaV's post, you can see centerlines logo just north of the valve stem. And centerlines have the round solid end of the rivets on the outside. Those enkies are cast, and the rivets are fake.

Thanks for all the input guys! I tried looking through several sites that sold Centerline and Enkei wheels hoping to find those rims. Finally reached out to Enkei customer service with a pic of the rim. They confirmed it as an Enkei style 24. Unfortunately they quit selling the center caps for those back in the early 90's. So on to eBay for those. They're 14x7 rims, so are the measurements for caps as simple as 14" caps?

Oh yeah, I took one of the tires off hoping to find a manufacturer's mark on the backside, but it looked like it was rubbed off. They said their name would be on a raised pad. Oh well.

I don't know how someone might specify the caps; and I don't know if the 14" & 15" wheels use the same cap.

My Enkei wheels are 15". The threaded center portion measures roughly 2.5" OD across the threads (major diameter). They are a fine pitch thread. Below are pictures of my center cap.

Cap width across flats: 3.0"

Cap height: .94" (15/16" ?)

Thread inside dia. (minor pitch dia.): 2.5"

Looks like a fine pitch to me:

Enkei is a Japanese company. Maybe they used a metric thread form? Metric threads aren't specified in threads per inch. Instead, they measure the pitch.

Pitch: 1.5 millimeters (as best I can measure) I don't have any thread gages.

Note: I couldn't get the calipers straight across the threads on the wheel for an accurate measurement. My best attempt was:
62.9 millimeters...safe to call it 63mm major thread diameter.

IMG_20210410_131757236~2.jpg

So, with that, I'll say the thread form is 63mm (major dia.) x 1.5mm pitch

Oh yeah, the cap is "secured" in place with a small set screw. The cap is aluminum.

Those caps look cooler than what I noticed for sale on eBay. Are they an older version, like from the 80's or 90's?
Thanks for the info.

I purchased those Enkei wheels (with caps) new in 1983.

Hard to believe you've got the same rims on there that long..37 years! Which ones ya got on your 300? Pic?

Past due on cleaning and polishing. Shame on me. :(
Maybe after I finish building my workbench.

Sounds familiar. I'll check and let you know.

There are six (6) images below:
5 from cast pockets on the back side.
1 from the inner surface of the wheel.

Any wheels sold for use in the USA must be D.O.T. approved and will have stampings somewhere on the rim or center. It will always be on the back of the wheel/rim.

I took off one tire and the backside of the rim didn't have the Enkei name on it. It had other markings. From the conversation I had with customer service, I was led to believe their name would be where that washed out look appears. I guess I'll have to take the rest of the tires off to verify.
