Isn't there a "strict" $500-$1500 (?) budget,
even if you bribe the officials
add ballast, where necessary, to make it even, turn both directions
(use accurate corner scales) with the driver sitting in it
put a cage in it, stiffen it up
lower it, for a lower center of gravity
poly bushings (at a min.), less deflection
reinforce the uca's & lca's, so they don't flex
wider rims & sticky tires
(no duh)
add more caster & camber
(offset bushing if necessary)
big sway bars, front & rear
(poly bushings)
better shocks
bigger torsion bars
some of that can get under the radar/rules
Hell just that right there can
'far exceed'
the limits of the "rules" budget
check out QA1 if the budget isn't a problem
otherwise modify what you have & do poly or solid mounts etc.
