Road Wheel Question

I was just looking over wheel options for 1971 Charger (on Hamtramck Historical) http://www.hamtramck-historical.com/images/dealerships/DealershipDataBook/1971/71_Charger0009.jpg

In looking at the "road wheel" option W23 it mentions "Heavy duty drum or disc brakes required." Does anyone know the reason for this requirement?

Why not go to the welcome wagon thread to intro your self and your car(s). A package requirement. Like other items, some were only available when purchased with other items in the package. Nothing technical or functional , they just wanted to sell more stuff than just the wheel alone. Just like HD brakes, shocks etc required when purchasing the Cuda package. Couldn't order with out them.

Welcome aboard from NJ. I thought for a moment that you were someone else. A guy who go's by "Grant Rachet" joined yesterday and has what appears to be the same car as yours and posted a picture as well, not just as his avatar.
