Sealing Wiper Motor?

Is The Gasket Good Enough Or Should I Put Some Sort Of Sealant On Both Sides Of The Gasket?

If So, What Do You Recommend?

As long as the opening is clean and smooth just bolt it down. I have never sealed one.

The seal on my '66 Belvedere never leaked. However, I just had my wiper motor restored and purchased a new seal from Steele just to be sure (didn't trust a 50 year old seal, even though it was in good shape).
