I am debating going to pick up a new bench seat for my 72 charger. The previous owner had converted the car to a floor shifter instead of the column shifter. I reinstalled the seat and noticed it actually hits the shifter. My thought was that they might not have made a 72 charger that had floor shifter with a bench seat for this reason. Can someone confirm or deny this? I'm researching putting in buckets, but would really like to stay with the bench.
