Shifter cable source

CK, check Imperial Services. They have listings for the various models, and engine variations. I think they are the only source for the shift cables ?

$229 plus shipping. Beats the price of a trans rebuild. Replaced the seal at the trans now I cant seem to get the adjustment right no matter what i do.

Scroll down to Adjusting Transmission Shift Cables Method One, Two, Three.

I prefer #Three with an ohms meter on the safety neutral switch.

You may want to do a search on Imperial Services before you place any order there.

You could also check with Jim or Cindy over at Kramers. They have some stock on hand too. I used the Imperial site for reference to size what I needed.

I have had 3 or 4 purchases from Imperial services (Promerican) in the last year or two. Steve Charette has been great for me! delivering as stated.
