If just the entire Greenland ice shelves melts off? 27' rise in ocean level. And thats just Greenland. I wouldn't buy long term in Florida?

The key word as you stated above is "if". So please explain what is going to cause the Greenland ice shelves to melt (within your lifetime) and raise the ocean level 27 feet? Please share with us what you know is going to happen that millions of others do not. Links to such hysterical claims would be helpful.

On a related note, if rising sea levels are such a concern, why are ocean front properties still selling at sky high prices and why did did President #44 recently purchase an oceanfront mansion on an island that's only 25-30 feet above sea level?

Rhode Islands bill states that in order to reach 80% of 1990 CO2 emission standards,that on or before the year 2040,no more internal combustion powered vehicles will be allowed to be registered or operated in the state. Not that much of a problem. If someones electric car is melted, chances are the electronics in his neighbor's gas car won't let it start either. And if by chance it was unaffected, a massive EMP attack would mean there wouldn't be any gas getting from the refinery to your neighborhood gas station anyway.
