Pretty neat! Gas dryers he shows how but carbon monoxide is a concern. Check his other videos the guy has some great ideas on things.
Choose your viewpoint..... 100% efficient, right??!! However, since direct resistance electric, very, very expensive to operate!!
WTF Auggie? Please tell me how a electric heater has ever been a carbon monoxide concern? What do you know that I don't?
Read Jon.. Read.. I'll do the KD and add the word ALSO and change the sentence structure. "He also shows gas dryers, but carbon monoxide is a concern".
Any time of gas heater should be vented but used to use those old radiant gas heaters and imo, they burn fairly clean once the ceramic radiant insert get up to glowing temps....but maybe I didn't notice the fumes so much since the garage at my old place wasn't all that tight.
Right...ceramic works as the catalyst to change the makeup of the CO. No such animal in a gas dryer or other heat that is really designed to vent outside..... Your only saving grace may be the size if the unit... a gas range on the other hand, could gas you with CO pretty good (bad).
At thirty five cents a kilowatt hour for my house, and fifty five cents a kilowatt hour for my shop it’s actually cheaper to burn money in the fireplace then it is to heat with electricity here.
That goes to the old "2" rule. If you pick a piece of food up off the floor w/in 2 seconds, it's OK to eat and when listening to a conversation, you must listen at least 2 minutes before joining in.
Seriously... Jon gives you the WTF and it's me you want to pick on.... FFS... I was standing up for you, carry on...
Yeah, I believe he is serious, because he's the one giving you shit and not I. Cranky didn't seem to have a issue, he even liked my first comment. So what's your problem?
