Installing a 440 6 pk clone in a 1967 Charger (originally had a 383 4bbl). I’m having trouble fitting the original kick down linkage to the six pack. Can someone provide the dimensions shown in the photos for a 6pk? The carb to pivot distance must be shorter than it was for the 383 and the vertical linkage is too short. I’m thinking of cutting and welding my pieces if I know what the actual lengths should be.

Here are some views of a factory set up. These are available from many Mopar suppliers, mostly transmission specialists. A&A etc...
You can use these to see what the angle is at the linkage pivot points.

Thanks. The view straight down gives me a good look at how long the link to the carb needs to be. So far the only repro parts I’ve seen are REALY expensive but I’ll try looking for trans specialists.

I have a big bin full of misc kick down parts and pieces. If you figure out what you need I could maybe match it up. I also have a complete 6pac setup ( I think ) in a new package marked 6pac.

Thanks for the reply. I just sent an inquiry to Lokar regarding a cable system. I’m starting to think the cable might be a simpler solution, but I might be interested in your 6pac setup.

I'll try to locate this linkage today. It's new in the package.
Thanks but I decided to go with the cable. My car is far from original and it sounds like the adjustment process is easier with the cable. I appreciate the response.
