I have the pan off as well as the timing cover. Trying to decide if I should put the pan on first or the timing cover then the pan. Opinions, rational?
 
I install the timing cover first. Mainly because it's easier due to the pan gasket. 440'
 
Definitely timing cover first. When I changed the cam trying to get it back on with the oil pan installed was a major pain in the *** for me.
