Hundred year old barns.... abandoned chicken coops.
The smell of crude oil.
Sickly sweet, with everything still in it.
The smell of steel in the furnace...smells like nosebleed.
Steel being cut off with a grinder brings back that same smell, and it really gets my attention.
Old muscle cars that don't completely burn gasoline...
The strange sweet smell of a hot engine cranking with no spark but trying to diesel itself awake.
Burning leaves like in the old days...
The smell of old canvas tents..
The smell of old outdoor shed fruit and vegetable markets.
The smell of a lightning storm on a summer day when the ozone was real high.
Sitting in grove of Concord grapes.
Flooded engine on a sub zero morning.
May, when the Lilacs start breathing heavily.
Fresh bacon frying.
Indian Head Gasket Shellac.
