Remy is tired of it for today too.....drying out after a romp in the snow.
We got 4-5" here in north Jersey. My breakdown wasn't as bad as Hawk's. The pull rope on my snow blower broke. Luckily it just started on that pull. Cleared the driveway and sidewalks and never shut it off. Replaced it after in the garage. Wasn't too bad.
It’s-10F right now, high for the day. Winds make it feel like -40F. Close to 1.5 feet of snow on the lawn.
From a friend in NH this morning…
It's zero here too. "feels" like is -13* but it will go back to the usual tomorrow. The next chill day will be Saturday then back up again. Not so bad, better than weeks at those temps would be. Bonky donkeys and sheep sheep will be staying indoors today.
Balmy -28C(-18F), -36C(-33F) with the wind, this morning. Think I'll wait 'till this afternoon to open the back door today... need to plow, but not even gonna try and start that '98 GMC 'till it warms up a tad...
Here we are a 0* today all day as a high, and you have it MUCH worse!
All of our livestock are staying in the barn today. It's about +20* inside there while it's -3* outdoors and full sun.
Down South here it's a balmy +13!
I wouldn’t care if it was 40 below and two feet of snow on the ground as long as the sun was shining. Illinois has to be the gloomiest states to live in. If they wrote a book about it, it would be called “300 days of gray”.....
calling for some snow on sunday ......
ATTACH=full]1232573[/ATTACH] 12 inches. In Monroe
We got well over a foot and it and not over yet. When it slows down, I’m ready.

Just cleaned a path to the garage. Looks close to 18”.
