as a newbie I wanted to contribute.... so I searched and NOTHING came up pertaining to recent work done on our cars..... only to learn after posting my thread. Somebody was SURE to one up me and find an old thread "What did you do to your Mopar today" *(I actually searched that and NOTHING came up) So I bowed to the original poster and added to his theme.

SO fast forward FACEBOOK .....

MOPAR LIKE!!!

So tell us about cruising along enjoying your hobby and somebody rolls up beside you "hey man I LIKE that car"???

Today the longest voyage.... I dont have the new tires on yet and I go and fill up the tank. I'm cruising along beside a 2000ish Civic, young kid driving and it has dealer tags....oldish guy *(gotta be YOUNG because he looked MY AGE) in the passenger seat. They are to my left and he is looking her up back and forth. My window is down.... he rolls his down "what is that" :nike: its a 68 Sport Satellite" him: "yeah kinda thought it was a Chrysler something" me: "yeah you might remember the 68 Roadrunners and GTX's" him; "ya I thought they were shorter than that" me; "no sir same body style but dont feel bad i always thought the same thing". Him: "nice car....I like it"

Well just tonight a neighbor said "I need to come and look at your car....looks like the whole neighborhood is hanging around your house"

Yeah got the new tires and wheels yesterday and the LOOKS I'm gettin is worth every cent.
Coming home from the Autozone i swear the poor kid in the pick up will need a neck brace!

I am ANTI facebook, my sons are on there, and my oldest has the same name as I, once and a while he will tell me one of my "old" friends "hit him up", I have no ******* idea what that means???

Anyway, I like when people enjoy my cars, I have to say the chevys attracted more attention than the mopars, but I also dorve them a lot more, the 70 v code Bee is actually going to be my first mopar "keeper", out of all the cars the 2014 lifted jeep wrangler rubicon unlimited, gets the most attention, EVERYONE in a jeep waves, everytime I take it out someone has to say "nice jeep" and getting gas, there is always someone admiring the girl. Not sure what it is, but people love wranglers...

Another thing that attracts attention is monster trucks, Huge lifted trucks, to me they scream "I have a tiny penis", but a friend of mine has a quad cab diesel ram on 40's , you need a step ladder to get into it, and when ever he goes anywhere he says people beep, take pictures with it, and it gets all kinds of attention..

I drove a friends gallardo (bright green) spyder for a week while we stayed with him in Mt Hood Oregon, we went to california with it and drove it all up and down the west coast (I let him drive my ram jet 39 tudor hot rod when he stays with us, as long as it summer time ) and the people that stopped and stared and took pictures of that thing was astounding!!! My wife ran into a Safeway pharmacy for some allergy drops (car was a convertible and was killing her eyes or nose or something, I felt fine, and WAS NOT putting the top up, lol) and 3 ladies probably 20-25 ish all very attractive wearing what I would call "california summer clothes", short shorts tank tops and fancy shoes, they may have been hookers, lol... stopped to ask about the car, they were all over it (not me), taking pics, asking for rides, then my wife came out and stopped all the fun...
