I don't wanna call it a restoration, it's not going all back to factory.
Son is almost 14, saved up his money to buy this car. I will be helping him rebuild it, teaching him as we go.
Since we got the car in October we have done a lot of disassembly, finding a lot more rust and body filler than we thought it had. Nothing really surprising as I know these old mopars have their spots they like to rust. We are going to tackle the car a section at a time. Here's some pics thus far.
Uploading from my phone, so hang with me..lol

Grinding down his ugly welds. Lol. I'll go back while he's at school and fill his burn through and touch everything up.
Only way to learn is to grab the welder and do it I told him.

That's cool with you and your son. You are going to really enjoy that time. I'm sure it's gotta make you proud. I did have a few flashbacks from cutting out those floor pans tho.

Nice. The 71 B Body design is timeless. It is a John Herlitz design he did on the heels of the 70'Cuda. Keep the updates coming.

Its great for you all to work together on it. It is one of my favorite body styles too. Hope to see it out running around some time. Hard work teaches good morals.

Spent a lot of time straightening this fender. Finally got it where I believe it should be. I'll fit it tomorrow, if everything lines up as it should, comes back off and gets epoxy primer. Then on to the other side
