Spare tire Sizing

Hey everyone, I am looking for advice or suggestions on a spare tire size for my 68 Coronet R/T. I haven't had a spare tire in the trunk for a long time and finally found a wheel and plan to mount a tire to it and secure it in my trunk this spring. Any idea what size tire came stock on the spare wheels in 1968? Looking for advice on what size tire to put on the wheel. Thanks!

You want a tire that's very close to the height of the tires you are currently running.

You want spare as close to the size of rear tire diameter, the sure-grip will thank you. MO

And make sure you have the proper air pressure in it as well.

My 67 R/T came with 7.75x14" redline tires.

That's going to require quite a bit of pumping.

Might get good and sweaty.
