I can't answer that question, but, I can say if you try another plug heat range, go one step cooler at a time and test ethier by way of drag strip or mileage check. By the tank is best over a long period.
I doubt the engine will need a different plug heats range ever, but in the case of worn out rings and/or valve seals, a step up can help in burning off a bit of oil. But it's such a minor amount of help in doing so.
