Speedometer cable rounting

hello putting together a 68 Roadrunner 383 4spd.car ,bought this car it was all apart ,making good progress engine and tranny installed ,after putting steering column in having trouble routing speedometer cable bottom side is fine where is cable surpose to run over the top of brake pedal ??seems to come over on angle to attach to speedometer,Any pictures ??? thanks Gregg
