Well I thought I would start a thread on my 68 Charger I picked up a month ago. Hopefully not to get burned out and can complete it. I do have my 68 Roadrunner to run around in in the mean time.

Here’s a pic of the RR, 383 auto, matching number block, original steel. Hotchkis suspension. More pics in my garage.

Pics of under carriage and parts that came with it. Plus auto trans, and 4 speed with peddles and Hurst shifter new in box.

Plans are: Hopefully, deep black paint, bright red interior, built 440 with console 4 speed. Haven't decided on which suspension yet but will be new K-frame bolt up with adjustable shocks and disc brakes all around. And also adding A/C.

Car also has factory rear defogger as an option on the tag. Originally Metallic Green, 727 trans and vinyl roof.

I've always wanted to do a '68. Just can't seem to find one for what I consider a decent price.

Looks like a great project, look forward to seeing what you do with it.

Looks like a solid project car. I am looking forward to watching your build.
I love these 68 chargers. Keep up the good work.

Ok, one man project here, rolled the Charger over to the slab, to pull engine and tranny.

looks pretty solid and complete ...

keep up the good work and the update(s) coming

Disconnect the torsion bars, upper arm bolts, shock nuts, and the lower k frame bolts, a little crow bar on the arms and it will roll right out, then bolted on the castors.
