Ok where the steering column connects to the gear box, I have 2 brackets (for a lack of a better word) and between them there is a rubber bushing with 4 wedge shaped metal pieces built in to the rubber, where the bolts go through.

Anybody know what this bushing is called?

Mine was in 3 pieces.

Thanks

I found it (SP-868), but they are out of stock, anybody know where else to look?

Correct name is steering shaft insulator, but is commonly called a rag joint. The part number is 3575303 and are not easy to find. One seller on eBay has them for $195, but I would search around before paying some rediculous price unless you need it now. I got mine last summer off eBay for $30 nos sealed in the bag.

You didn't buy a second??

Thanks for the name, mine was in pieces and I kind of need it.

On a much worse note, I had to drill out 2 of the bolts. So now I am looking for 2 of those.
