Steering column cuppler

Rebuilding 1966 steering column. Question is what type of grease or paste to use inside
the column coupler. Mine was of course just semi grease and hard dried grease.

I use a good quality disc brake bearing grease. Make sure its high temp due to the proximity of the exhaust.

I used Penrite General Purpose Moly Grease (Lithium). It's just black grease, works fine.

Or a waterproof Marine Grease.

All good suggestions above.... I just use wheel bearing grease.
