used a 5/16. I got the pin out, now the punch is stuck. I can rotate it but can't pull it out. I'm going to come up from the bottom with a small punch and knock it out

You needed a 1/4" punch. The longer, the better.

having a tough time pulling the pitman arm. I've tried heat.
weight off the wheels? Have to disconnect tie rod linkage?

You need a pitman arm puller.

yea. I decided to get the correct puller. I was hoping that my universal style puller would work. It didn't.

Finally got the box removed. I had to pull the exhaust in order to get it out of the car.

Now to box it up and ship it off to firm feel

I'm now debating on pulling the Kframe from the second car that has no engine (it will eventually get an aftermarket front end)
rebuilding it while it's off......and putting it on this running car.

I'm wondering if that would be easier than trying to rebuild this car's front end while it's on the car with an engine in the way
