How to store body parts while waiting to paint. Bubble wrap, crates or something else. Main body not done it. Working on suspension now. Any hints would be great thank you.

I thought if you epoxy prime them your good. Just find a safe spot for them. Thats what Im doing. Guess we will find out.

Back when I was working on the Coronet I used coat hanger wire to hang them from the roof structure of my shop....

I coated the bare metal in this stuff if letting it sit a while before painting. Did pretty well

Just be sure to wipe with pre-prep or paint thinner before painting.

Scuff with 320 , spray with a epoxy primer, Deltron , DP 90 ,50 ect.
Like 1 wild R/T suggested hang them or some sort of overhead storage.

To safely store body parts when I built my ‘58 Apache, I made an A frame cart with casters. It was easy to move around which was important given the limited space, and prevented stuff from being scratched and dinged…

That's the ticket space saving thanks.

All of my stuff was painted, so I wrapped each fender and door in Harbor freight moving
blankets and put them in my basement/crawl space to keep from having to move them
all the time and risk a scratch or dent. Safer for me that way.
