the vapor return line is the nipple on the sending unit or tank? thanks dave

There is no vapor return line..... There are vapor lines (70 California & 71 & up 50 states) & there is a fuel supply & a fuel return line... The line connected to the vapor separator mostly returns a restricted flow of fuel to the tank through a fitting on the sending unit.... Because of the design of the vapor separator any vapor will also flow through that line...

thats what I need to know.

Same on all 1970 b bodies
440-4
440-6
hemi

auto and manual Trans

it’s through the sending unit and it is a soldered in piece of 1/4” tubing.

I don't know about any current reproduction vapor separators but the ones that were available in the late 90's & early 2000's didn't have a flow restriction & if used as is would cause a low fuel pressure concern.... Adding an 065 Holley main jet in the line returning to the tank solves the issue...
