Okay, so I have a 4-door 1970 Satellite. The front bench seat is, in my opinion, ugly. I want to swap out that bench seat for 2 seats from a charger. I absolutely love those seats, so comfortable and they hold you in so well.

What I'm wondering is how much of an undertaking am I looking at? Will they basically just bolt in with a little coercion, or will I need to get/make adapters? I assume these seats can't be extremely easy to find.

Has anyone here done this? Even if it wasn't the same car as mine, I'm curious.

You will have to drill at least 2 extra holes in the floor next to the tranny tunnel.
Then add some reinforcement between the bolt/washer and floor pan.

The outter bench seat holds may or maynot be in the location that suits your bucket seat tracks also which means drillin 8 holes in the floor pan.

I've done that in my 71 RR. Came with bench now has buckets.

If you use same year buckets the seat tracks should be OK ergonomicllly.
Different years or body seat tracks may need to be fit forward, back. left or right to fight the best.

Did I confuse you? LOL
