I posted this exact thing in my build thread (http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/moparforum/threads/a-proper-intro.112011/) with no replies. I figure someone might have some better ideas here.

On the topic of sway bars....

I'm looking at either ADDCO reproductions from Classic or the more expensive but a little beefier Hellwig Motorsports tubular bars also from Classic. Does anyone have any experience with either of those/advice in terms of sway bar thickness?

Another concern of mine is that I have an aftermarket 7qt oil pan. It hangs down lower than stock. On the pictures on the first page you can see it peeking under the car. Will the sway bar interfere with that at all?

Here are the links:

i was told the problem with the new bars is the hoop clamp flexes to much because they are to thin...Im in the market myself for a set...my car never had them. I will be watching.

I have the hellwig 1 3/8" on my coronet, fit great, dramatically improved the ride. Would buy another from them in a heartbeat ...

Another option would be to look at firmfeel but I have pretty much completely ruled them out due to the extreme price increase from the other options.

Any other comments on Hellwig vs ADDCO?
