I mounted mine with the hose clamp but I painted it balck first then wrapped the wires with electrical tape.. It looks fine and you can not see the clamp...
I'll add this: if the tach is permanent, then why not drill?
It's just two little holes, and it can always be plugged with JBWeld and painted. Or a hose clamp can go over the holes if a new tach goes on and the old bracket isn't used.
What I considered, and rejected, was drilling in the dash or the pad. That seemed too much.
I'm kinda a senior citizen,so I have the large easy to read tach:icon_thumright:
Also need to install some idiot lights,once the hammer drops,I don't see any gauges:headbang:
Here's what I did. Maybe hard to see but I grabbed a piece of aluminum and with the help of my Bridgeport I widdled out this mounting bracket. I cut a hose clamp and screwed the ends to the block and painted it black. Later I folded up another piece of aluminum to mount my line lock light.
