Suggest you save your cash, what’s the point of a small tach in a place you can’t see it?
Lol good point. I have a 5" Autometer worm clamped to my steering column, as much as I know that annoys some of you guys. Ultimately I plan to re-do my gauge cluster and have a 'tach mounted in the gauge cluster. The 'tach on the column was cool when I was in college, not so much now...

I bought a retro Mopar tach made by Autometer from Summit Racing. Not cheap but it was $60 off list. I just got it and plan to mount it on the transmission tunnel. It’s large enough to see down there. It looks very appropriate for a ‘60’s/‘70’s Mopar.I'm looking to add an aftermarket tach to my charger. I want one that's small and in a inconspicuous location. Any suggestions? Brand, type, mounting location?
If you just want a little tach for nostalgic reason,,,,,cool.Suggest you save your cash, what’s the point of a small tach in a place you can’t see it?
Love those!Back in the day, we'd strap a Sun Super Tach on the steering column. The originals had a separate control box, you can get a modern replica which doesn't need a separate box. I have a modern one in my car, still have an ancient original one up on my garage shelf.
