well i got my sattie running again,,after installing the new fan clutch,,its quiet now ,,but had to call the previous owner who is a good man,,i had to tell him what 68 block model plymouth was installed ,it had a 318 originally, he told me the 68 big block 383 came from a 68 chrysler newport,i am glad knowing this important info on the car , because i was going to order future parts for a 69 sattie 383 , before the parts clerk kept giving me parts that wouldnt match,i ordered a 69 plymouth sattelitte fan clutch and he gave me a non thermal clutch fan,,, wrong one .so now when i need spare motor parts ,i say for a 68 chrysler newport,,thanks again guys for the help...i love this forum........b bodies only.com.
