I know some of you racers are do it yourself types. Please post up some of your fab work! Here’s some of mine...

Very nice. Way fancier than my stuff. I've learned to fab through necessity. Its been a lot of fun.

No Crap... that was Lee Smiths A990 Plymouth. Is it a clone or original?

This was my first attempt at stretching wheel wells.

that is looking really great. how long did that take and just asking what size pipe is used for the rollbars and frame work.

are the shock towers for the hemi or a wedge type

I left the shock towers original. Tubing was chrome moly varied from 1.250"x.053" for these tubes to 1.65"x .083" for the main stuff. Complete cage took me 3 months to complete. First cage I ever built. Car has been done and raced going on year 6.

Learned long ago with my budget it has to be done at home. If you don't like how you so something, do it over. If you don't you'll stare at it every time thinking to yourself.
" Should have fixed that ". And yes my car has those spots, damn it. Be an idea whore, steal from others. You don't have to come up with everything on your own. I marvel at some of the stuff people do. I've only scratched the surface. Don't need a lot of special tools to get started either. Made a lot of stuff with a hack saw, hammer, vice, and a drill .

Latest client project to leave to shop - all 3/16" plate and .120 tubing. It was blasted and got black powder to match the rest of the gear.
