They sold guns through the 70's for sure. I vividly remember looking through their big catalog and putting together my wish list when I was a kid.

Used to be that any kid who had the money, no matter how old, could buy a 'six-shooter' cap gun at the five & dime that fired plastic 'bullets'. Great fun and very cool!

I have my dads Browning shotgun with the original box, with postaqe stamps on it. The shotgun was shipped thru the post office! Those were the good old days. 1963 in fact! ruffcut
