I have always loved the start of a project just as much as the finish. I dont know how others do things but I send time getting organized and order many things before I get started and make a detailed plan of each stage. monday as Im sanding the small pitted areas around my car the ups truck showed up, he will be here a few times in the next two weeks :) body panels this week
looking to have her in primer early in october

I love the start of a project too but my approach it much different. I'm usually broke for quite awhile from purchasing the project itself so nothing is ordered ahead of time or anytime soon.

Bodywork on parts is my favorite aspect of my job. Prep is everything and reflects in the finished product.

Amen cudachick took out the gas tank last nite will clean it up replace sending unit fuel lines then get a state inspection so I can drive it to the weld shop for a little metal work

Off topic here, but be wary of the new fuel sending units Dgc. Seems they ALL suck.

yea I had issues with my charger when I replaced the sending unit I think I went thru 3 till one worked for a darn and lasted for more than a few months hard to believe such a simple part an their made so cheap

have gotten a lot stripped down and have been a bit shocked the only bondo on the entire car was drivers rear quarter must of had a small fender bender and was pulled out I havent seen one this solid for a long time, even though it had a bad repaint back in the early 70s I am wondering a bit about color combo though its a white car with copper dust interior im thinking it will look good when done
