Does anyone know the measurement? I have been told it's 21.5". Would the above engines use the same cable? I found a 66' 383 but the ad doesn't say it fits 67' or a 440.

Many thanks

66-67 383 or 440 should use the same cable. Maybe if you use a real tall intake on a 440 it may get tight.

Rb engines are a bit taller than B engines. It may matter.

I swapped a 383 with a 440 in a 69' Coronet and had no throttle linkage problems. I just find it funny the supplier didn't list a 440, and neither did anyone else. They were the only ones with this 383 cable.

Thanks for your input.

Auggie, I had a chance to dig out my 1967 MOPAR factory parts manual. In 1967, the part numbers for the 383 and 440 engines in all B bodies are the same. The hemi is different. (An interesting bit of trivia, the 318s with Cruise control use the same part number cable as the hemi....)
