Tire size

Hi there everyone,lm just wondering what's the widest tires l can use on 15×8 rims (aluminum or steel) l drive a 73 satellite sebring with no wheel well alterations at all. Thanks in advance Sebring

I would say 255/60, any wider and the centers will wear out.
Even with these keep the air pressure low like 25-28 in the rear.

275-60-15 will work fine on a 15 x 8 wheel.

Are you asking about rear only, or front and rear? What will work, and clear the fender on the rear, may not work on the front. What is the backspace on the rims you are talking about?

255/60/15 on front with stock ride height and 0 offset. If you lower the front end watch your fender clearance at full lock. Out back...whatever will fit a 15 x8 will have plenty of room with 0 offset.
