Nobody is lonelier at the swap meet than the guy trying to sell 14" wheels these days. :) It's getting harder and harder to even find 14" tires anymore.

Your car looks much better with the new set up !

The car looks good the way you have it now. I assume you have no clearance issues. I always like to stuff as big a tire as I can under there. I like the fenderwell filled not just in width but in height also. That includes the front as there is alot of weight up there to carry. I like the nascar look but without power steering you could dislocate your shoulder trying to manuever or park. I would have suggested getting a Percy's wheel-rite fitment tool. Perhaps when you wear out the current meat you will go a little bigger. Your 72 is sweet, thanx for the pics. I have a 73, (similar fenderwell) but I have a narrower rearend with offset spring hangers. N-50's on 8 and a halfs fit inside the well with no clearance problems at all! I love it but I would like to go the pro street route with tires so wide you see nothing but the pumpkin from the rear end. By the way, you can get those rallye wheels in 10" wide also and I think you can have the off set custom made so they will be centered.

if they will fit under a 68 Satellite..... we may be able to talk!!!:icon_bounce: So rather than start another tire wheel thread I want to ask what will fit under the 68 Satellite?????

I'll keep my wheel covers but dang I have to make her look good!!! So guys chime in!:hello2:

Your car looks great! I'm working on my 72 plus also. I am thinking 275/60 15
Rear and 225/70 15 front. No power steering. I will keep the front tire pressure maxed out so i can turn the car at slow speed.
My 71 runner had 255/60 on all corners. LOTS 'O ROOM TO SPARE!
Do you have plenty of room with the rear 275's?

I have plenty of room with the 275's on my 72. Good looking car! Take care

yea lots of room !! i could have went bigger, maybe a little wider next set. but i love the stance they give her !

What width are the rims? 7 or 8 inch? Wondering if the 275 will mount on 7 inch rims.

15x7 and 255/50-15 all around. Thas a prooved good looking combo. 15x8 rims with those tires will fit more less the same ( or even better )
