Just saw this on the bottom trailer on ESPN. He's not been worth a lick since he hit that guy with the Sprint car. Can't find other confirmation yet. Anyone else see this ?

I saw the same thing, it said "full time" and "sprint cup", so he might be planning to do other forms of racing and/or part-time in cup. According to jayski.com Clint Bowyer will take over his car in 2016.

That makes good sense,as Clint will likely bring 5 hour with him.

Too bad, that Ward deal had to have an affect. Truth is he is a very talented driver.

I hope for what ever he does he enjoys himself...

The litigation from the accident, I'm sure has something to do with decision too...

I had a feeling he would never be back in 100% form. An accident like that would take the wind out of anyone's sails. Whether the accident was intentional or not doesn't matter here. Sometimes a dramatic life change will alter the course of future events more than one realizes. I could see him continuing as a team co-owner, and perhaps running sprints, but his days in Cup are probably done the end of this season.

I never cared for the man, however, I do not believe for a second there was any malice or ill content in that accident. It is a shame for something like that to do what it does to folks involved in just a terrible accident and someone else dies.
I have an employee that happened to and it has fucked with his life in a big way.

I watched that video fifty times.

I believed that there was malice and ill intent that day, and I still believe it. He's the dog that escaped the lethal injection.

I believe he swerved to make Ward jump back. The hit was unintentional, but stupidity & a bad temper caused it. Bad for all.
