have ever watched Don Garlits video about him from start to now and how the front end rails where so dangerous and how changed over to a rear end dragster and developed them to what they are today ,not sure if I have of the story but you can watch the whole story on the net ,I had a link up at one time

Thanks for posting that... I love the old front engine dragster's & altered's... I use to be one of those guys who wore a shirt that said "real race cars don't have doors", I've since reformed some...LOL...

Nice,,, Mine was like the Black with red stripe slingshot.... Mine was black too,,, just didn't have the red stripe..... Same sheet metal body, and cage before I added the extra bar.... I had the round fuel tank though,,, not the "new" between the rails tank....
