So Im getting my suspension together on my 68 Bee. New bushings etc. When I reinstall the lower control arm, should I wait to torque the pivot shaft nut until the car is on the ground and T-bars adjusted or torque it now? Does it make a difference? I've done few rebuilds but never LCA bushings.

I makes a difference. Wait till the car is on the ground and the t-bars are adjusted. This puts those shafts tight in a neutral position. If you were to tighten them say, with the car on a hoist and the wheels dangling then when you lowered it back down the lca's would be putting unnecessary tension into the rubber bushings. I suspect they'd eventually find their way back to a neutral position but why worry about it!

That’s what I was thinking. Thanks for the confirmation man!
