torsion bar installation help

How do you install the rubber boots on to the torsion bar with out tearing the rubber boots?

Wouldn't hurt to warm them up some too. In Texas, just laying them in the sun for a few minutes usually does the trick....along with some lube.

When I put new boots on mine I used Silicone spray to Lube the torsion bar. Don;t forget to grease up the ends of the bars Before installation

All of the above ...... But we made this cool little tool out of PVC. You could make one out wood or aluminum, steel etc.

Just line it up next to the hex end on the torsion bar and then you slip the seal over the other end. Push the seal towards the bar and your done. Works great .....
