Installed new lower control arm bushings and the old torsion bars and had the front end aligned. Prior to alignment I adjusted the ride height. After a day or so the right side becomes lower than the left. I've readjusted the torsion bar on that side but it continues to "lower itself". The left side maintains is setting. Could this be a bad torsion bar or, and I dread the thought, the lower control arm bushing had failed. Any thoughts or comments appreciated. The car is a 65 Satellite 383 car. Thanks

Either a stripped adjuster bolt or your torsion bar socket is rusted out and turning in the cross member.

Ah....I'll check that out. Appreciate that and thank you.

Its possible that the torsion bar nut is not positioned correctly on that side.

look them over good
