Does anyone have information on towel city pie crust slicks? Meaning sectional width? I’m currently running a 275/60 drag radial on a 15x8 wheel with 4.5BS and I’m switching to a wheel with 4.25BS and wanting to run their 29x10 pie crust. Been searching for days and can’t find anything…

I believe you will be ok. I looked them up for more info.I'd call them and asked what the mounting width will be with your wheel specs..
They should have that info. I ran drag radials 275/60/15 on factory steelies 15x7 with 4.25 back space with no issues on my 65
You do know that they are recaps using new radial casings.

Awesome car sir! And I do plan on calling them and seeing what they say, just wondering if anyone here had a set already. And yea I’m ok with them being recaps I’ve only heard good things about towel city and Radir’s I’m hoping to get a 30 tall tire.

I would rather try them on 4.5 or 4.75 b.s., (4.75 bs fits a 10x28 slick on my 62 nicely) but 4 1/4 might be okay. Call them and see what size radial casing they are using.
Could be worse.... I have some nice vintage 15x8 1/2s, with 3 1/2, 3 5/8 bs. They fit almost nothing, with proper size tires on em.

Did a little research....
Lots of good comments and reviews for the towel piecrusts on Jalopy journal. I don't know how much Towel is charging, but Speedway has NEW Piecrust Firestones, 8.20x15, recommended for 7-8.5 rims, 10.7 section, 30 inches tall.
$520 ea, 613095.
Other sizes as well, with lots of dimension info on Speedways site.

I’ll be calling towel city this week and seeing what they have available
The 8.20s I think will be perfect for my car.

We're running both the Towel city and Firestone repros in 10", the T.C's section width is no wider than the tread and easily fits in a stock '65 Coronet tub, I don't know what size tire or brand they used because it's shaved smooth, the Firestones are wider than the tread and require some extra height to fit, both have torque thrust, 8" iirc
