Tranny fits ?

This is listed on Craig's list.
Just curious on what it is.
Will it drop in a 1966 thru 1970 b body ?
Any info would be appreciated

No its a chevy transmission for a truck. Mopar is a A833

That guy has multiple transmissions listed in that ad, like three. One is marked "A-body OD" and i think two have pentastar logos. One also looks like a common A833 with a dual shifter mounting, but I really dont know enough about them to answer.

The one with the two mounts would be for a truck or b body. Same length as 727

The single mount a body one has the shifter mount farther back and shorter tailshaft...same length as 904

Imo...For a small hp, non performance tranny 600 is a hefty price...but I went to the Coyote Johnson auction and those prices were really high too. Lol

My curiosity was because he mentioned an 833 with overdrive.
I was unaware/did not think Mopar built 833 with od.
Then the picture sure looked like it was a twin of my 69, from the front shaft end anyway.

Not much difference externally between the regular 833 and the OD version. The large diameter (5 1/8") front bearing retainer is the giveaway.
