Tranny ID

I picked up this tranny with a group of parts I purchased and I don't know what it fits. It has a 10 spline input and looks like a short tail 727. It is the aluminum case. Any idea's?

learn something new all the time! 'A' body cars used a short tail shaft trans too but none that I know of were aluminum case.....

Update: It looks like a NP833 built for GM to use in 80's Chevy trucks as per H.A.M.B. www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/np-833-identification-help.564881/
