My project over the weekend was to replace the trans cooler lines in my 69 RR (440, torqueflite). I am guessing that due to the difficulty of feeding the lines through all the suspension, k-frame, and around the oil pan, the previous owner had just cut the lines and then linked the two halves together with rubber hose. I purchased replacement lines from classic industries and they fit great. However....the way these lines fit is opposite on the radiator of the way the previous lines fit. I am guessing that since they are just running through a cooler that it won't matter. Will it????

Flow direction through that cooler would not really matter.
The lines you purchased are as OEM, and that is they way it should be installed.
Your old setup was connected the "wrong" way around by the PO so you are good to go.
