Ive been getting a weird vibration lately and I'm almost positive its from after the engine itself. I made a post with more details in the General Tech area, but I KNOW my trans mount is trashy so replacing it is on the agenda whether it's causing my viibration or not.
RockAuto stocks two competing brands: DEA and Anchor...I'm not familiar w either of em. Anyone know if one is better than the other? Fit? Quality? Etc? They're also subdividing the goods into HD and non-HD. I dont know which one I have, I do know that I had 6 leaves per side out back, if'n that aint HD I cant imagine what is. But really, is there a difference between the two? Maybe an extra mounting tab or something? For the record, the HD is slightly cheaper...odd.
The problem that Im having is that due to a change in the domestic situation I am not only super-broke, but using my 76 Cordoba as a daily driver, AND living in an apartment. What that means is that I have to work fast and surreptitiously so I dont get busted doing "mechanical work" in the parking lot (strictly verboten. I could end up with a stern talking-to or even worse...disapproving stares!), and I gotta drive this thing come Monday morning. The super-broke part is pretty much business as usual, I just cant afford to make any mistakes. I'm pretty sure some of you guys know exactly where I'm coming from on this one :icon_shaking:
Thanks for help, love this board.

I've used the Anchor brand. It's a stock OEM replacement. Works fine.

I used a poly mount from energy suspension.... I was never impressed with the Chrysler trans mounts.... any way check you're pinion angle.... the alignment is very critical and old rear springs can effect the angle and give you a vibration at around 60-70 mph center the engine and trans first then adjust for pinion angle and there are several threads explaining that whole process on here.
