how do these come off? Need to be removed to paint and I don’t want to break them, thanks

The center pin pushes out from inside. You can however push the pin inwards but the pin is hard to recover inside the panels. If you have a small child you can stuff in the trunk you can have them push the pins outward. I assume you have a 66 belvedere and this is the belt line trim.

Thanks, I figured it out when taking off the back piece from inside the trunk, saw the plastic pin sticking thru the fender
